Disney’s Disney's Typhoon Lagoon is closed today as cold weather moves through Central Florida, with Walt Disney World currently listing no operating hours for Monday 12th, Tuesday 13th, or Wednesday 14th.
On a normal operating day, Typhoon Lagoon typically welcomes guests from 10am to 5pm, but cooler temperatures and weather conditions have prompted Disney to pause operations for the start of the week.
Water parks at Walt Disney World are highly weather dependent, particularly during the winter months, and closures like this are not uncommon when temperatures drop or wind chill becomes a factor.
At this time, Disney is indicating that Typhoon Lagoon should reopen on Thursday 15th, subject to improving weather conditions. As always, operating hours remain flexible and could change depending on the forecast.
Guests planning water park visits this week are advised to check the My Disney Experience app or official Walt Disney World calendar before heading out, especially during colder periods.
