Walt Disney World has released a new Star Wars “Join the Empire” merchandise collection, putting Darth Vader firmly in the spotlight. Inspired by Imperial recruitment posters, the range features bold colours, classic villains, and unmistakable Dark Side styling.

This hanging banner is styled like a traditional military enlistment poster. It features Darth Vader wielding his red lightsaber, backed by Stormtroopers, Star Destroyers, and TIE fighters. The words “Enlist” and “Join the Empire” are printed prominently, with a white Imperial symbol at the bottom.
“Join the Empire” Cup – $24.99 (£21.99)
The cup shows Darth Vader standing in front of Emperor Palpatine’s throne room window with his lightsaber ignited. “Imperial Forces” appears in Aurebesh around the design, while the reverse side features a red Imperial insignia and the phrase “Join the Empire.” A translucent red lid opens to reveal the inside.

This black mineral wash adult t-shirt features a large blue graphic of Darth Vader’s helmet, surrounded by TIE fighters and Star Destroyers. “Join the Empire” is printed in yellow text alongside four red Imperial symbols, giving the shirt a retro propaganda poster aesthetic.

The water bottle carries a matching design to the cup, with Darth Vader posed with his lightsaber on one side and “Join the Empire” printed on the other. The red flip-top cap features a black Imperial symbol and opens to reveal the inside.
“Join the Empire” Blanket – $44.99 (£39.99)
This blanket measures approximately 50 x 60 inches (127 x 152 cm) and features artwork that closely matches the t-shirt design. It comes wrapped with a red ribbon and includes a themed tag using the enlistment-style artwork. The tag on the back confirms the blanket is made from 100 percent polyester.
