With Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend just days away, Brooks Running has confirmed it will once again be bringing the magic to runners with a brand new series of limited edition shoes in collaboration with runDisney.
In a post shared on Instagram, Brooks invited runners to step into the spotlight, calling on “main characters” to celebrate the next chapter of the Brooks x runDisney partnership. The collection features shoes inspired by classic Disney characters and the overall Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend experience, continuing a collaboration that has become hugely popular with runners and collectors alike.
First 2026 Drop: What’s Included
The first Brooks x runDisney drop for 2026 includes five special edition models, each themed around iconic Disney favourites or the event itself:
Adrenaline GTS 25 runDisney
Ghost 17 Mickey Mouse
Ghost 17 Chip n’ Dale
Ghost Max 3 runDisney WDW
Glycerin 22 Stitch

Each design blends Brooks’ well known performance technology with playful Disney inspired visuals, making them equally appealing for race weekend miles or as a standout addition to any runDisney fan’s collection.
Where and When to Buy
Runners attending Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend will be able to shop the collection in person at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo. According to Brooks, the shoes will be available during the following times:
January 7: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
January 8: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
January 9: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM
January 10: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
As with previous years, quantities are expected to be limited, and popular designs often sell out quickly, especially character themed styles like Mickey Mouse and Stitch.
Turning Miles Into Memories
Brooks summed up the spirit of the collection perfectly, encouraging runners to “turn miles into memories.” With marathon weekend combining racing, celebration, and Disney storytelling, these shoes are designed to be part of the experience rather than just race day gear.
Are you planning to pick up a pair at the expo, and which design is at the top of your wish list this year?
