Guests visiting EPCOT in early 2026 may notice one familiar snack stop missing from their plans. Refreshment Port, located near the entrance to World Showcase, is scheduled to close temporarily for refurbishment.
Based on Walt Disney World’s refurbishment calendar, the food stand will close starting January 12, 2026, and is currently listed as unavailable through March 3, 2026. Disney has not released any official details about the work taking place or whether the closure could be extended.
The timing means Refreshment Port will be closed for most of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, which runs from January 16 through February 23, 2026. As a result, the location’s usual festival offerings may not appear this year.
In past Festivals of the Arts, Refreshment Port has featured rotating poutine dishes, themed desserts, and speciality cocktails. With the stand closed, those items could be relocated to other booths or skipped entirely, though full festival menus have not yet been released.
There is a potential silver lining for spring visitors. The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival begins on March 4, 2026, just one day after the last refurbishment date currently shown on the calendar. If the project stays on schedule, Refreshment Port could reopen just in time for the start of the festival.
Are you hoping Refreshment Port returns in time for Flower & Garden, or do you have another EPCOT snack favourite you’ll be turning to instead? Let us know your thoughts.
