Three brand new savoury loaded waffles are coming to Marketplace Snacks at Disney Springs, giving Mickey waffle fans a bold new reason to stop snacking sweet.
Marketplace Snacks is best known for its over the top sundaes served in iconic Mickey waffle cones. From January 15, that same waffle base will be used for a trio of hearty savoury creations, joining the existing sweet options on the menu.
Here is what guests can expect, in a slightly different order.
BBQ Brisket Mac and Cheese Waffle
This is easily the most filling of the three and feels more like a full meal than a snack. Inside the signature Mickey waffle cone is creamy mac and cheese topped with chunks of smoky brisket, sweet black pepper BBQ sauce, pickled onions, and chopped parsley. It is rich, comforting, and ideal if you are planning a long wander around Disney Springs.
Hot Honey Chicken Waffle
Hot honey continues to be one of the biggest flavour trends, and this waffle fully leans into it. Crispy fried chicken bites are paired with hot honey, black pepper candied bacon, spicy pickle slaw, roasted jalapeños, garlic ranch, and a sprinkle of chopped parsley. It delivers the perfect mix of sweet heat, crunch, and savoury flavour.
Bacon Cheeseburger Waffle
All the elements of a classic cheeseburger come together inside a waffle cone. This option features seasoned ground beef, crispy bacon, cheddar cheese sauce, dill pickles, iceberg lettuce, diced tomato, and burger sauce. It is indulgent, messy, and surprisingly well suited to the waffle format.
